Three restaurants have been granted permission to operate for 24 hours. The Seahouse, Saffron Cafe’, Nice N Spice Restaurant have been granted permission to open 24 hours at Male’ City, stated the Ministry of Economics. All the restaurants which were granted the permission has fully met all the criteria, affirmed the Ministry of Economics.
Restaurants operating for 24 hours should be found in the following locations :
- Boduthakurufaanu Magu
- Kanba Aisa Rani Hingun
- Fareedhee Magu
- Medhuziyaaraiy Magu
- Sosun Magu
- Janavaree Magu
- Majeedhee Magu
- Buruzu Magu
- Orchid Magu
- Ameenee Magu
- Lonuziyaaraiy Magu
- Villingili Ferry Terminal
- Chaandhanee Magu
Conditions for operating for a duration of 24 hours include ; being able to clearly view the inner areas of the restaurant, operation of 24 hour functioning cameras and prohibition of smoking.
