Kurumba Maldives has previously held a number of activities to celebrate the day during the previous years as well. The resort continues to provide their support to the Orphanage continuously throughout the years.

The resort is also involved in sponsoring Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC), a non-governmental and non-profit organization involved in promoting children’s rights in Maldives. ARC stated that Kurumba Maldives is not only a participant of the NGO’s ‘Corporate Ambassador Program’, but the resort has received ‘Champion of Child Rights’ title in recognition of the works they have done.
