Maldives Marine Industry’s biggest awards, Maldives Boating Awards (MBA) has announced that its 2018 call for nominations has been closed. Mr. Ibrahim Shahid, the president of Liveaboard Association of Maldives (LAM) stated that the nominees for a Maldives Boating Awards have increased significantly having the major marine industry brands in this year’s edition.
The marine Industry was encouraged to nominate in categories ranging from boat builders. Liveaboards, marine industry suppliers, crew, captains and guides covering all major aspects of the boating industry.
Boating Awards opened for nominations during October 2018 and the entries were closed on 5th November 2018.
Liveaboard Association of Maldives (LAM) initiated with the idea of encourage and recognize the service of Marine Industry in 2014 and the 4th edition this year has been scheduled to take place in Male’ during December.
