The signing ceremony between Maldives Getaways and the Partners of the second edition of GOLD 100 2018 event was held on 23 January 2018 at Champa Central Hotel.
GOLD 100, the first initiative of its kind in the Maldives, is a list of top 100 business entities in the Maldives, published by Corporate Maldives – a premium business and hospitality magazine. The main objective of GOLD 100 and GOLD 100 Gala is to distinguish and appreciate the work done by prolific leaders of the businesses community in the Maldives. A strict selection criterion that is both transparent and unbiased ensures that the entities on the list are indeed the Maldives’ “Gold 100”.
Bank of Maldives signed as the Title partner for GOLD 100, gaining the name “Bank of Maldives Presents GOLD 100 Gala”. Dhiraagu, MTCC, STO, FSM Supplies Maldives, AS Marine Maldives and M7 Print signed as Gold partners.
Maldives Getaways also signed with media partners for GOLD 100. Official media partners include Public Service Media, Sun Media, Avas Media, Maldives Insider and Corporate Maldives.
Just like in the augural Gold 100 event, Corporate Maldives will again award two Lifetime Achievement Awards in order to recognize visionary business leaders who have made significant contributions to the Maldivian business community.
The GOLD 100 initiative is endorsed by Maldives Monetary Authority, Maldives Privatization and Corporatization Board, Maldives Pension Administration Office, Capital Market Development Authority and Maldives Stock Exchange. The backing of these governing bodies in various aspects ensures the strength of GOLD 100 as an industry standard.
Corporate Maldives hosted the inaugural GOLD 100 GALA on 21 February 2017, the most exclusive invite-only business-networking event in the Maldives. Hosted at Kurumba Maldives and, the event was attended by over 150 top-level executives from the leading companies of the Maldives and VIP guests.
The Gold 100 is not intended to rank business entities but is devised to be a selection of the top business entities. As such, the list will be published in alphabetical order.
This year’s GOLD 100 Gala 2018 will be held on 22nd of February at Bandos Island Resort and Spa.
