South African Airways to start its Flights to Addu on 2nd December

The announcement was made by the then Tourism Minister, Mr Moosa Zameer in a ceremony held in the Tourism ministry during August 2018.

The flights were first scheduled to begin on 24th of November which however got delayed. To begin the flights, a special ceremony will be held in the Gan International Airport on the 2nd of December which will be attended by several ministers.

These travels will make use of the Airbus 340 flights and will be able to carry 300 tourists to Addu per week and are made possible by an African tour operator going by the name Air Tour Operator (ATO).
