Many efforts have been made to advertise Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) at World Travel Market (WTM).
Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) is the first ever tourism fair held in the Maldives organised by Maldives Getaways. The company has been advertising TTM at the Maldives stall in ExCel London at the ongoing WTM where the leaflets specialized for advertising are also being distributed. An advertisement of TTM has also been displayed at the stall.
Dr Hussain Sunny Umar, CEO of Maldives Getaways outlined that meetings with travel agents are ongoing at WTM in order to onboard as many travel agents as possible for the upcoming TTM fair.
TTM fair has been held for two years where more than 157 resorts and hotels and 200 travel agents participated during this year.
TTM 2018 gathered over 400 industry professional from top 150 resorts, international trade agencies, tour operators, travel agents, media partners, international airlines and key industry stakeholders where over 4000 pre-scheduled meetings were conducted by registered users through the handy Connect software. Moreover, the fair also featured a Hotelier summit, a solution-oriented platform which allowed over 150 industry professionals and decision makers to think ahead and explore the future of tourism and hospitality industry in the Maldives.
