Bank of Maldives has received the coveted “Excellence in Training and Development Award: An Overall Award for Best Results Based Training” from the World HRD Congress at the 6th Global Training and Development Leadership Awards held in Mumbai.
At the official awards ceremony held on 17th January 2019, which was attended by more than 500 human resources professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region, BML was recognized for establishing a culture of learning and implementing policies to develop and retain talent. With monthly training sessions for staff across the nationwide network, a successful Kiyavama program to further education in relevant fields, and the recent launch of BML Riveli to offer staff and other interested parties to harness their banking skills, BML offers a competitive environment to progress personal and career development. Additionally, the Bank has successfully carried out the first year of the BML Graduate Internship Program for young graduates to gain valuable on the job experience.
