Civil servants salary will be raised by the year 2020 in line with the governmental pledge, as per the Minister of Finance, Hon. Ibrahim Ameen.
The Minister further explained that all necessary arrangements are being carried out by the National Pay Commission.
Finalizing a minimum wage for all laborers is also a pledge by the President of Maldives, Hon. Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
In line with this pledge, a special workshop has already been held to carry out discussions on finalizing a minimum wage.
