Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has introduced IBSA Blind Football in the Maldives last evening at FAM House.
The special function saw officials of the Maldives Paralympic Committee, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment and Football Association of Maldives.
The aim of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Blind Football in the Maldives is to create awareness and provide the opportunity for everyone to participate despite their disabilities and take part in the sport.
FAM President, Bassam Adeel Jaleel has said that this is a huge achievement for the Maldives and will ensure that no child is left without an opportunity.
Maldives has currently won numerous awards and medals in international Paralympic competitions.
