Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has concluded its last EXCO meeting for the term 2016 – 2020.
FAM’s presidential election was announced to take place in the 20th of the month, but as Bassam Adil Jaleel is the only candidate who applied for the post, he has been elected as the President of the association.
Bassam Adil was first elected as the President on 20th November 2016, after competing with former national team forward Ahmed Thoriq (Tom). At the time he was in the association’s general secretary position.
Over the years, Bassam has brought many developments to the football industry of Maldives.
