Permits allowing to go out for work will be only issued to those employees who are registered in the Maldives Pension Administration Office, said Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
In a press conference Registrar Mariyam Visam, said if the company has less than 10 employees then permits will be issued for only two employees. And if the company has 10 to 30 employees then 5 permits will be allowed.
She added that if the company has more than 30 employees then permits will be issued for 20% of workforce.
Ministry of Economic Affairs has released guidelines in issuing permits for registered companies and for state enterprises on 29th of May.
To apply for permits, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has instructed to fill the excel on their website and email the form.
