Co-Load Maldives was founded in the year 1986 by Mr. Abbas Mohamed, who now serves as the Company’s Managing Director. The Company is primarily involved in retail and wholesale trade, with internationally acclaimed and world-renowned brands comprising its product portfolio. Co-Load Maldives is the sole distributor of prestigious paint brands such as Crown Paints, Jotun, AkzoNobel’s ANAC and Sikkens, among several others, all of which are retailed from Color Bank Stores. In 2011 Co-Load Maldives opened the Nation’s first international franchise Ace Hardware & Centre in the Maldives which was the first of its kind in the SAARC region too. Ace Hardware is the largest home improvement franchise company in the world, with over 5,300 stores operating in approximately 70 countries. Currently the Company owns and manages 2 Ace Hardware outlets and 3 Color Bank outlets, with more exciting developments planned in the pipeline.

Co-Load Maldives offers a wide range of product lines including housewares, gifts, paints & sundries (decorative, automotive, marine, woodcare, aerospace and specialty paints), home appliances, commercial and household cleaning products, power tools and hand tools, hardware, gardening &; lawn supplies, electrical supplies, sporting goods, toys, stationery and office equipment, candy and foodstuffs in addition to others. The Company, also through its subsidiary Co-Load Development provides real-estate development services and through Maldives Business School provides College education from Foundation to Master’s levels.
