Centara Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to construct/operate two more properties in the Maldives.
In an interview with Bangkok Post, the Senior Vice President for Business Development Suparath Chirathivath stated that they were looking to expand their reach within the ASEAN countries and that Centara’s two properties in the Maldives are their most successful.
“We will invest more in the Maldives. Two projects will be signed this year including one management contract and one investment.” Mr. Chirathivath said.
Centara Hotels & Resorts is dedicated to providing exceptional service in unique and sophisticated environments. The five-star property Centara Grand Island Resort and Spa in Maldives was Centara’s first overseas hotel, and an immediate success. Currently, there are a total of 65 properties in the domestic and international Centara portfolio, 37 in operation and 28 under development.
