Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the work on the design and build of R. Maduvvari South Harbor is well underway, with overall 83% project progress.
Installation of harbor pavement is currently ongoing, with 60% completion.
The R. Maduvvari South Harbor development scheme consists of dredging 7,280cbm from channel, dredging 65,520cbm from harbor basin, breakwater construction of 411m, quay wall construction of 566m, revetment construction of 135m, installation of 2825 sqm paved area and installation of navigation lights and streetlights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 72.66 million.
