Bank of Maldives has announced the appointment of new Directors to its Board of Directors.
At the Bank’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held yesterday morning, Ms. Aishath Sajnee, Tharividhaage, S. Hithadhoo was nominated by the Government and appointed to the Board of Directors. In addition, Mr. Abdulla Naseem, Karankaa Villa, H.A. Filladhoo was elected by public shareholders and appointed to the Board.
With these appointments, the Directors nominated by the Government and appointed to the Board are:
- Mr. Timothy Sawyer (Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director)
- Ms. Aishath Noordeen, M. Thaangeedhoshuge
- Mr. Yooshau Saeed, H. Sandy Beach
- Ms. Juwairiya Saeed, Ma. Kosheege
- Mr. Abdulla Hassan, Naseemaa Manzil, R. Alifushi
- Mr. Abdulla Husam Shareef, Dhiguvaandu, Savaa, Gn. Fuvahmulah
- Mr. Mohamed Sharah, Kothange, G.Dh. Fiyoaree
- Ms. Aishath Sajnee, Tharividhaage, S. Hithadhoo
The three Directors elected by public shareholders are:
- Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed, Nelum, N. Holhudhoo
- Mr. Ahmed Mohamed, G. Ufaa
- Mr. Abdulla Naseem, Karankaa Villa, H.A. Filladhoo
