Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the construction of major roads at R. Dhuvaafaru (2nd phase) is well underway, with overall 82% project progress.
MTCC has commenced asphalt works on 17,790 sqm of roads on 26th March 2022.
Scope of works for this project involve, construction of 9 roads with a total length of 17,790sqm; sidewalks of 6,923sqm; a carriageway of 17,790sqm; installation of stormwater management system, road lighting and road markings.
The project is valued at MVR 37.8 million.
