Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the work on design and build of Sh. Lhaimagu Harbour Development Project is well underway, with overall 54% project progress.
According to MTCC, the installation of precast concrete blocks for quay wall construction is ongoing, with 70% completion.
Sh. Lhaimagu Harbour project consists of dredging and excavation operations of 31,000cbm; construction of a 350m breakwater; a 276m quay wall; a 500m revetment; installation of 1,380sqm pavement, installation of navigation lights and streetlights.
MTCC stated that the value of the project is MVR 56.3 million.
