Ooredoo Maldives has announced that the company’s dividend and audited financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2022 were approved by the company’s board of directors.
The decision was made by the directors during the first board meeting of the year held on Thursday.
The board of directors of Ooredoo Maldives has approved to recommend MVR 3.04 per share as dividend for 2022 to the company’s shareholders. All persons registered as shareholders of Ooredoo Maldives as of 14:00 hours on Thursday, 16th February 2023 will be eligible to receive the 2022 dividend.
During Thursday’s board meeting, the directors also approved the audited financial statements of the company for 2022, which will be published on Ooredoo’s website before the end of 7th February.
The recommended 2022 dividend and the audited financial statements of the company for 2022 will be proposed for the approval of the shareholders during the Annual General Meeting to be held in March 2023. If the shareholders approve, Ooredoo Maldives states that it will commence distribution of the 2022 dividend in March 2023.
The Notice and Agenda of the AGM, proposed to be held in March 2023, along with the relevant documents will be made available on the Ooredoo Maldives website by no later than the end of Tuesday, 21st February 2023.
