The Clay Studio Maldives, which teaches pottery and ceramic art, has been opened in Hulhumale’. This privately owned studio is the first-ever of its kind in the Maldives.
The studio, which is located on the ground floor of Raincrest Residences in Hulhumalé, was inaugurated by Ahmed Athif, the Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation, along with Ahmed Muaz, Co-founder of the Clay Studio.
The Clay Studio plans to organize exhibitions and workshops and provide opportunities for freelance artists as well. The courses offered at the studio will enable both adults and children to experiment with clay art.
The studio is expected to be a valuable addition to the arts and culture scene in the Maldives, creating a new avenue for individuals who are keen to learn the craft. From solitary sessions and seminars to team-building exercises and birthday celebrations, the studio offers something for everyone.
