Bank of Maldives Renews Partnership with Tennis Association

Bank of Maldives renews its partnership with the Tennis Association of Maldives (TAM) as part of its support for sports development in the country. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held today by Karl Stumke, CEO and Managing Director of Bank of Maldives and Ahmed Hafeez, President of TAM.

Through this partnership, the Bank of Maldives will support the National Tennis Championship for the next three years, aimed at developing young players and recognizing top talent in the sport.

BML CEO and Managing Director, Karl Stumke commented, “The National Tennis Championship is the longest-running tennis tournament in the country, and we are delighted to continue our partnership with TAM to enable young athletes to further develop their talent.” 

Bank of Maldives proudly supports the development of sports in the Maldives and is the official sponsor of the national football teams, the official sponsor of all national surf teams and the nationwide partner of the Swimming Association of Maldives. 

In addition, BML is currently supporting 7 top national athletes from Athletics, Badminton, Table Tennis and Tennis to train and develop at recognized high-performance training centres worldwide through its Sports Scholarship Fund.
