Allied Insurance Company has disclosed the beneficiaries of its 2023 Community Fund and Education Fund, under the ambit of the “Premium for Good” initiative.
These funds, integral to the company’s commitment to social responsibility, aim to support initiatives contributing to the welfare of communities.
The Allied Community Fund, a substantial funding program, enables organisations in the province to transform community-beneficial ideas into reality across seven key areas.
Four candidates have been awarded MVR 50,000 each for their project proposals in the fields of health, social services, environmental protection, women and children’s rights, class equality, and history.
The 2023 recipients of the Community Fund are as follows:
- Naifaru Juvenile
- Milandhoo Sports Club
- Keyodhoo Isdharivarun Jamiyya
- Blue Guild Foundation
Simultaneously, the Allied Education Fund invites applications for projects that foster ideas benefiting students and teachers, thereby fortifying the education system.
Recognising the importance of education, MVR 25,000 has been allocated to support the most commendable proposals. The recipients of this year’s Education Fund include:
- Foakaidhoo School
- Maamendhoo School
- Hirilandhoo School
- Baa Atoll Education Centre
- Mohamed Jamaluddheen School
- Madhrusat-al-Iftitah
