Developers are being invited to express their interest in constructing and operating three upscale hotels at Urban Isle, located in the Integrated Tourism Zone of Hulhumale’ Phase II. The project, designed to cater to the Maldives’ expanding tourism sector, offers an opportunity for contractors to participate in a prime development initiative.
The proposed hotels will feature state-of-the-art advancements, aimed at delivering high-quality services to international tourists. While priority will be given to contractors who choose to undertake the project under a land lease model, other business models will also be considered.
The selection process will be competitive, with proposals evaluated based on the business model proposed and the contractor’s relevant experience. The most favourable proposal will secure the contract.
Developers have until 1400hrs on 29th October to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI), with submissions to be made via mail to business@hdc.mv. Further details, including additional project information and guidelines for submission, are available on the corporation’s website, with queries also accepted through email.
This opportunity is expected to attract significant interest from both local and international contractors looking to contribute to Hulhumale’s evolving tourism landscape.
