Dhiraagu has extended its support to the newly established Knowledge Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City, an initiative launched by the Kulhudhuffushi City Council to promote learning, community engagement, and sustainable development.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Dhiraagu contributed computer systems, video conferencing devices, and a collection of books to the public library at the centre. These resources aim to enhance technological accessibility, nurture digital literacy, and inspire a love for learning within the community.
“We are happy to support the Knowledge Centre, which will be a vital hub for learning and community engagement in Kulhudhuffushi City. By providing digital tools and educational resources, we hope to empower the community further and foster sustainable growth,” stated Bishaara Hameed, Manager Corporate Social Responsibility at Dhiraagu.
In addition to its technological and educational contributions, Dhiraagu’s team also participated in creating a greener environment for the Knowledge Centre by planting 100 trees, ensuring the space is welcoming and environmentally friendly.
The Knowledge Centre, which also includes a public library and wellness centre, is set to serve as a community hub, fostering growth and knowledge sharing in Kulhudhuffushi.
Dhiraagu reaffirmed its commitment to initiatives that strengthen communities across the Maldives, enriching lives and supporting sustainable progress.
