The 127,989 visitors in October 2017, led to the surpassing of the 1 million mark of visitors to the Maldives for the year 2017, with a total sum of 1,125,995 arrivals in the year so far.
Europe lead the market share with 45.5% and showed a growth of 10% compared to October 2016. Asia and the Pacific had a market share of 45.4% and Americas raised to thirst position with 4.3% market shares.
