The current Boat Gateway in Hulhule’ has been closed down and a new Gateway for Boats has been started using since 8th July at 6 AM as per the published notice by Maldives Airport Company Limited (MACL)
Before the completion of the Male’-Hulhule’ bridge, A new Parking Arena would be built in the previous Ferry Entrance in the Velana International Airport.
Managing Director of MACL, Adil Moosa said the Gulf Cobla from UAE will be constructing the new Parking Arena, whose also subcontracted to the land reclamation to build the second terminal of INIA.
Mr Adil also said that vehicles travelling from the bridge can go directly to the Airport Terminal but the vehicles can only be parked in the Parking Arena. A parking building would also be constructed in addition to the parking arena.
Housing Minister Mr Mohamed Muiz said the Male’ – Hulhule’ Bridge will be inaugurated before August ends.
