Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the work on the design and build of Aa. Ukulhas Harbor Quay Wall and Jetty Construction is well underway, with overall 62% project progress.
MTCC has completed installation of precast concrete blocks required for the construction of quay wall and dredging operations of harbor basin is ongoing, with 57% completion.
The scope of the project includes, dredging and excavation operations of 19,630cbm; construction of a 31m breakwater; a 136m quay wall; a 138.73m jetty and installation of 580sqm harbor pavement.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 19.9 million.
