Allied Insurance, the most experienced insurance company in Maldives, offers motor insurance services for road vehicles. They have two plans, the government-mandated “Third Party Moto” and the “Comprehensive Moto” plan. The former covers damage to third party and their vehicle caused by an accident, and can be purchased online. Meanwhile, the latter, which provides full coverage for self, vehicle, third party and their vehicle, was previously only available at Allied service provider offices and counters. However, this year’s Ramadan promotion has led to the digitization of the “Comprehensive Motor Plan” service, making it available on the “My Allied” portal. The first 100 customers who purchase the “Moto Comprehensive” plan online will receive a free helmet.
Allied Insurance is committed to customer centricity and providing easy and innovative solutions to find insurance solutions. The online portal “My Allied” is now offering Motor Comprehensive Plans, which are currently available for immediate purchase for bicycles that are less than 5 years old and valued between MVR 40,000 – MVR 100,000. For other vehicles, customers can complete the application process through the portal and pay through the payment link sent by Allied after verifying the validity of the application.
This online service saves valuable time while ensuring safety, and is available through Allied Insurance and its Islamic window, Ayady Takaful. Customers are advised to ensure that the plan is registered under the name of the vehicle owner and that all information provided is accurate.
