Allied Insurance Company has announced the resumption of its cashless service for outpatient healthcare following a temporary suspension due to recent changes in the government’s Aasandha policy. This announcement brings relief to patients who rely on cashless transactions for medical services, allowing them to access care without the need to pay out of pocket.
In response to the Aasandha policy change implemented by the government, which prioritises private insurance coverage before offering Aasandha benefits, Allied Insurance and several other private insurance providers initially halted cashless services. However, Allied has now confirmed that these services are once again available across all healthcare providers in their cashless network.
In an email sent to healthcare facilities last night, Allied informed providers that patients can utilise the cashless service for outpatient care up to their coverage limit. Cashless service enables patients to access treatment without having to pay directly; instead, the billing is managed between the healthcare provider and the insurance company.
The company expressed gratitude for the public’s patience during the temporary suspension, emphasising its commitment to delivering accessible healthcare solutions. Allied also encouraged customers to reach out via its hotline at 1600 for further information regarding the resumed services.
