Allied Insurance Company of Maldives, subsidiary of STO and the largest insurance company in the Maldives has introduced electronic insurance stickers for vehicles.
During the launching ceremony held at Iskandhar Koshi, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Ahmed Saudhi commented that this new service will facilitate ease of service for the community, most of which use a vehicle of one type or the other for daily travel needs. The new sticker will allow checking the validity of the insurance from anywhere easily and offers the option of no longer requiring a physical sticker to be on the vehicle indicating insurance.
