The Auditor General’s Office (AGO) launched its mobile application “Audit App” at a special event held on 1 May 2021.
The app was launched by Dhaandhoo Constituency MP Mr. Yaugoob Abdulla who was Chief Guest at the event. According to the AGO, the purpose of introducing this app was to enable greater engagement of stakeholders in the AGO’s work by enabling easier access to information about its work and providing timely notification about published audit reports and new initiatives.
While introducing the app, the app developer who is a member of the AGO’s IT staff told the audience that key features of the AGO’s official website had been integrated into the app. In addition, that app was designed to enable users to easily request for information.
The app will be available for download from the Play Store on 6 May 2021 onwards.
