Authentic Maldives has opened their fourth outlet at Kuda Villingili Resort. This new outlet was opened by the Minister of Tourism, Dr Abdulla Mausoom.
At the opening event, the Japanese Ambassador, Her Excellency Ms Keiko Yanai also launched the official Authentic Maldives Website. The website is funded by the government of Japan under the UNDP Maldives Sustainable Economic Empowerment and Development for SME’s (SEEDS) Projects.
Other notable attendees included Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage, Ms Yumna Maumoon who was a special guest to this grand opening. Chairman of Kuda Villingili Resort, Dr. Mohamed Ali was also present.
Authentic Maldives is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development to promote genuine local products, which is being operationalized through the Business Center Corporation.
