Children’s Multimedia Library has been reopened on 19th July 2019.
The library was reopened behind the city council office at Kan’baa Aisa Rani Hingun with newly developed amenities.
The new facilities include a play area, a room with a multimedia screen for story telling and a room for board games and homework.
During the opening, Minister of Heritage and Culture, Ms. Yumna Maumoon stated that it is the responsibility of parents and teachers to kindle the love for reading in children.
The library was reopened under the celebratory activities for Library Day 2019.
