Capital Market Development Authority, in collaboration with Women on Boards have inaugurated today, a 2-day programme targeted for company secretaries at the Maldives Customs Service training hall.
The programme is aimed at familiarizing the participants with the role of Company Secretaries in increasing transparency and structuring companies in accordance with the principles of Corporate Governance and the Companies Act of the Maldives. The participants will also be briefed on the current tax system, as well as ways to review financial statements and annual reports.
The 28 participants of this training program will be instructed by experts from CMDA, Ministry of Economic Development and Maldives Inland Revenue Authority.
