Dhiraagu hosted its annual awards ceremony at Crossroads Maldives last night, recognising the remarkable contributions of its long-serving staff and outstanding achievers.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including the Chairperson of the Communications Authority of Maldives (CAM), Ilyas Ahmed, Dhiraagu Board members, CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed, alongside members of the company’s leadership and staff.
This year, a total of 79 staff members were honoured for their exceptional contributions to the company. Among them, 45 long-serving employees were acknowledged for their loyalty and dedication, having been with Dhiraagu for 10, 15, and 25 years. Additionally, awards were presented to 34 staff members who have significantly contributed to the company’s success. These included 15 Divisional Merit Awards, 11 Special Merit Awards, 5 Innovation Awards, and 2 Outstanding Leaders Awards.
The most prestigious recognition of the evening, the Chairperson’s Award, was bestowed upon Ismail Samah, Engineer Core Systems. Samah’s technical expertise and tireless efforts in the company’s core system projects have made him one of the most dedicated members of the Dhiraagu team.
Dhiraagu continues to empower its staff and celebrate their efforts in enriching the digital experience for the people of the Maldives, enabling them to ‘take on tomorrow.’
