Dhiraagu has opened applications for the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme 2023 intake, the company’s flagship CSR initiative and the first corporate apprenticeship programme of its kind.
The programme aims to develop youth through structured educational training, enhance work skills and familiarise them with the corporate working environment. It will allow participants to earn while they learn and gain on-the-job experience and training in various fields in Dhiraagu, such as Administration, Brand and Marketing Communications, Corporate Services, Deployment Support Services, Financial Accounting, Human Resources, Network Operations, Product and Solution Development, Revenue Assurance & Business Control, and Roaming & Carrier Services.
The opportunity to participate in this year’s programme is open at the Dhiraagu Head Office at Male’ as well as in the Seenu, Thinadhoo and Laamu Operation Centres of Dhiraagu. Any Maldivian between the ages of 18-30 who has completed their A’ Levels or bachelor’s degree and who are not employed full-time are eligible to participate in this programme.
Dhiraagu has been conducting the company’s Apprenticeship Programme consecutively since 2009. Since then, 247 apprentices have enrolled in the programme and have gone on to establish successful careers in Dhiraagu and other organisations across Maldives.
All apprentices joining the programme will receive training from in-house staff specialists on soft skills development and will be given essential knowledge in areas such as time management, personal management, project planning, presentation skills, and more.
