Dhiraagu will host its GudiFest kite-flying event in Hulhumale today, Sunday, 31 March 2024. The event will take place at Dhiraagu Beach, located near the Hulhumale Phase 2 Entrance, and run from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Dhiraagu GudiFest is a community initiative to revive the traditional Maldivian practice of kite-flying during the holy month of Ramadan. The event is open to children of all ages, and Dhiraagu will provide participants with a free kite.
The company launched the GudiFest program last year and plans to host similar events throughout the Maldives and the Greater Male’ Area during Ramadan. The inaugural GudiFest event was held in Male’ Usfasgandu earlier this week.
Dhiraagu frequently launches special offers and activities for the public throughout the month of Ramadan.
