Cafes and restaurants, however, will follow adjusted timings to accommodate Ramadan’s unique schedule. They will be permitted to operate from 5:30 pm until 3:00 am during Ramadan. Following this, during the first seven days of Shawwal, their hours will shift to 4:30 am until 3:00 am.

The Ministry also clarified that cafes, restaurants, and takeaway services holding 24-hour operating permits on residential islands will need to adhere to these specific regulations during Ramadan and the initial days of Shawwal.

These measures are introduced to support businesses while respecting the cultural and religious practices observed during Ramadan and Eid.
