Excitement is building for the second Gold 100 Gala scheduled to be held this Thursday, 22nd February, as organizers, Corporate Maldives makes their final preparations for the most exclusive invitation-only business networking event to take place in the Maldives.
Over 100 senior executives from leading 100 companies of Maldives has confirmed to attend “GOLD 100 GALA” which will be held at Bandos Island Resort & Spa.
The first GOLD 100 Gala ceremony was held on February 21st, 2017, to honour and recognize the top 100 companies of the Maldives and their accomplishments for the year 2016.
“GOLD 100” is a list of leading 100 business entities in the Maldives, published by Corporate Maldives at the end of every year. The selection criterion ensures that the selection process is transparent and unbiased so as to reflect that the entities on the list are indeed the Maldives’ “Gold 100”. The main objective of GOLD 100 and GOLD 100 Gala is to distinguish and appreciate the work done by prolific leaders of the businesses community in the Maldives.
Corporate Maldives will award two Lifetime Achievement Award winners during the gala event. Last year, the Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Mr Hussain Afeef and Mr Mohamed Umar Maniku, two entrepreneurs who pioneered the development of the tourism and hospitality industry of the Maldives.
The first issue of the Corporate Maldives GOLD 100 magazine was unveiled at the first-ever Gold 100 Gala ceremony which was held last year. This year, Corporate Maldives will unveil the 2nd edition of the GOLD 100 magazine including an investors guide of the Maldives.
