The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been found to have adhered to the Finance Act and Finance Rules throughout 2021, according to the Auditor General’s Office. The Ministry’s financial affairs were scrutinized as part of the 2021 audit report, which concluded that its expenditure for the fiscal year was consistent with the budget objectives approved by Parliament.
The budget was implemented in accordance with the Finance Act and Finance Rules as specified in the budget. The report also confirmed that all other financial matters of the Ministry were conducted in compliance with the Finance Act and Finance Rules.
It is worth noting that the Ministry has consistently followed the Finance Act and Rules in all audit reports issued by the Auditor General’s Office since 2018
