Islanders Education, was the first private company to open an international school in the capital city of Maldives, Male’. Over a short period of time, IE grew to become one of the largest private educators in the country with 12 international schools in 9 islands across the Maldives. Today, IE runs multiple educational institutions offering programmes for K-12, higher education and digital education. IE is the principal sponsor and founding member of ‘Foundation for a Better Future’, who focuses on providing quality education to underprivileged and differently abled children. IE owns and developed Hologo – a digital resource app for education, Teaching Tube – an online teaching solution for Secondary, EduSparkan online teachers’ professional development platform.
