Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that work on the design and build of Ha. Ihavandhoo Harbor is well underway, with overall 60% project progress.
MTCC has delivered the second shipment of rock boulders required for breakwater construction to the project site yesterday.
Scope of works for the project include dredging and excavation operations of 30,509cbm; the construction of a 95m quay wall; a 284m breakwater; and a 178m revetment. Additionally, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights and construction of 4,582sqm of paved area will also be undertaken.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 59.1 million.
