Statistics show that imports and import revenue have increased in March 2021, compared to the same time frame last year.
Maldives Customs statistics reveal that there was an increase of 13 percent in both the value of goods imported, as well as the import revenue earned during March 2021. Meanwhile, exports fell by 23 percent when compared to the same period last year.

Vessel movement statistics show that 133 vessels arrived in Maldives in March 2021, compared to 115 vessels in March 2020. Additionally, 154 vessels departed in March 2021, which is 32 more vessels compared to the same period last year.
Total number of declarations processed last month is 19,138.
