Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the M. Dhiggaru Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project is well underway.
The project is currently at an overall progress of 57 percent. Reclamation operations are ongoing, with 68% completion.
Scope of the project works involve reclamation operations of 25 hectares, construction of a 384m rock boulder revetment, a 287m rock boulder breakwater.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 121.8 million.
