Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced that the work on the design and build of M. Veyvah Harbour is well underway, with overall 80% project progress.
The 2nd shipment of rock boulders have been delivered to the project site on 22nd March 2021.
The M. Veyvah Harbour project consists of; dredging and excavation operations of 66,831cbm; construction of a 350m breakwater; a 380m quay wall; a 130m revetment; installation of 1,880sqm of paved area and installation of streetlights.
According to MTCC, the value of the project is MVR 48.8 million.
