Yet another addition to Its growing list of young local talents, Patina Maldives, Fari Islands has appointed Maain Shahid as Its new Assistant Front Office Manager.
Prior to joining the team at Patina Maldives Maain worked as a Duty Manager during the pre-opening and first year of operations at Waldorf Astoria Maldives, Ithaafushi. A graduate of Hilton’s Management Development Program, Maain also held Front Office positions at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, Hilton & Doubletree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. Prior to joining Hilton Maain started his hospitality career as an F&B intern at One & Only Reethi Rah and then went to pursue the rooms division internship with The Ritz Carlton, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
His educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree Double Major in Hospitality and Tourism Management from James Cook University Australia (Singapore Campus), as well as a Master of International Business in Hotel, Resort & Spa Management at Swiss Hotel Management School in Leysin, Switzerland.
Maain credits his success in the industry to a genuine passion in culture, people and creating memorable experiences.
His vision and personal aim are to inspire the next generation of young Maldivian hoteliers by creating interest and passion and to establish themselves in the industry.
