Maldives Airport Company Ltd (MACL) has opened the eastern side parking area at Velana International Airport (VIA) on 15th July 2019.
According to MACL, this was done in order to accommodate to airport users.
The east side parking was opened by the Acting Managing Director of MACL Mr. Moosa Solih.
The total plot area of 4250 sqm can accommodate up to 11 vehicles and 862 motorcycles.
The west side parking space of 4993 sqm was opened on 2018 which accommodates up to 36 vehicles and 830 motor cycles.
MACL is a 100% government owned limited liability company incorporated under the Companies Act of the Republic of Maldives.
