Lh. Madivaru Aiport project has been handed to Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG).
The signing ceremony took place in the brand new underwater restaurant in Hurawalhi Maldives. On behalf of Champa Brothers, the Director Mohamed Moosa (Uhchu) and Mr. Lee Dausung who is a representative of BUCG signed the agreement.
Madivaru Airport project was initially handed to Kuredu Holdings earlier this year by the Government. It is scheduled to be completed within 8 month’s time.
In the function, speaking to the press Mr. Mohamed Moosa (Uhchu) noted that the airport will bring new developments to the area. It will also create more job opportunities and will bring in a number of benefits for generations to come.
Previously on this island a military training center was operated. To construct the airport USD 50 million will be invested by Kuredu Holdings.
