Maldives Association of Human Resource Professionals (MAHRP) announced a partnership with local telecom giant Dhiraagu to host an exclusive Service Excellence one day training event in Maldives with world’s leading customer experience consultant Ron Kaufman.
At a ceremony held at Marble Hotel in capital Male, MAHRP President Hussain Afeef and Dhiraagu’s Senior Manager for Brands and Communications Mohamed Mirshan signed the sponsorship agreement. Afeef told journalists that Dhiraagu was chosen as the main sponsor of the event based on the company’s excellent record in customer service. “For instance, Dhiraagu was the first company in Maldives to set up a 24-hour call centre,” he said.
Mirshan stressed the importance of human resources development to keep up with the rapid expansion of the service sector in Maldives. MAHRP’s dedication and commitment to develop local talent will help businesses in the service sector grow, he added.
