The Maldives Butlers Academy, led by its President and head trainer Mohamed Yamaany, recently conducted a specialised butler training programme at Noku Maldives Resort. Held from 11th to 12th February, the training aimed to enhance the skills of the resort’s staff in professional butler services.
Mohamed Yamaany, who has over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry with leading global hotel brands, played a key role in delivering the training. His expertise in tourism and hospitality was instrumental in shaping the programme, ensuring it covered essential aspects of butler service.
The two-day training was attended by seven staff members and focused on key skills such as grooming, service etiquette, and stress management. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, participants were encouraged to actively engage in the learning process, making the experience both educational and practical.
The programme received positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the relevance of the content and the structured approach to training. Many highlighted the clarity of the objectives, the quality of training materials, and the supportive learning environment. The training left staff members feeling confident that the skills gained would help them excel in their roles at the resort.
