A one-day training program was conducted by Maldives Immigration on Border Security, Fraudulent identities and Document Security.
According to Immigration, 22 participants from different departments successfully completed this program.
The aim of the program is to further strengthen the regulations and to educate the employees at the organization to ensure all procedures relating to border security, fraudulent identities and document security are conducted accordingly.
Maldives Immigration is established to protect the borders of Maldives from undesirable or harmful effects from immigrants that might deter or disrupt the harmony and solidarity of the sovereign Maldives. The Immigration also facilitates and provides safe passage into and out of Maldives for genuine travelers.
